Titanfall's server stability is in Microsoft's Azure hands

According to Respawn the rise and possible fall of Titanfall's launch stability is in the very capable hands of the Microsoft Azure Cloud. The developer has stated that it is not clear what hiccups if any will occur during the title's launch, Azure is set to handle elements of Titanfall's AI hosting and various physics calculations.

One of the really nice things about it is that it isn't my problem, right?" Shiring said of potential server issues at the game's launch. "We just say [to Microsoft], here are our estimates, aim for more than that, plan for problems and make sure there are more than enough servers available -- they'll know the whole time that they need to bring more servers online.Respawn engineer Jon Shiring



Shiring went on to note that during the recently hyped Titanfall beta a back failsafe was activated when too many players logged on to the game's European servers they excess was quietly transitioned to various East Coast US data centers. Due to plans like this, Respawn is obviously sitting pretty for their hit title's launch tomorrow.

This game did not take a year at all. Infact, it began development in 2011 when it was meant to be coming for current gen consoles but it was delayed until they were funded. Lazy? No. Lazy companies is a great example of Infinity Ward and Treyarch (Not so much treyarch anymore).

Rockstar Games is indeed a good company, but it is not the best, the servers were unstable at the time since they didn't perform stress testing before initial release. Where as Respawn did. The best company out there who are very, very hard working, is Bungie.

1 billion? You're having a **** laugh.

Also, they make the copies of the game, plan for 95% of those players to use the server - no problems then.
