Titanfall patch released to combat launch issues

Respawn has released a Titanfall patch designed to combat "early issues" on PC and Xbox One.

"We've just pushed a patch that's now recovering servers quickly," the studio said on Tuesday morning. "Players will load into Private Lobbies much faster and we're continuing to monitor. Thanks for sticking with us on launch night, we appreciate your support!"

Respawn's debut game is now available on PC and Xbox One in North America ahead of its rollout in other regions throughout the rest of the week. The Xbox 360 Titanfall release date is March 25 in the US and March 28 in Europe.

Respawn co-founder and Call of Duty co-creator Vince Zampella said on Tuesday: "Creating Titanfall has really been an incredible journey for our team at Respawn and we're excited to be able to finally get the game we've been making into everyone's hands. We're a small, tight-knit team, and I'm proud to have come together with them over these last few years to create something that we think pushes the boundaries and is above all else fun."

RGHSigned I nearly bought the Xbox One with the Titalfall DLC with it. Good thing I was able to resist. I got plans for the next two months. I'll get it down the road though. Definitely.

Honestly I think that would've been a waste, wise decision avoiding that, but I would definitely get it in the near future.

DJSLobbies A lot of hard work going into this game , I know it will pay off for them, very good game!

It will big time. This game is like the first game I have seen that hasnt had much problems. They should be doing good in the future etc.

In the future the game should have a bigger fan base, but who knows I might buy this game (possibly) but I honestly don't know.

This game is honestly fantastic. I haven't had any problems, except like the ones stated by NBC.

I plan on playing all day today.

Am I the only one that hasn't had any problems? Loading into a private lobby takes a little while. But it's not broken like the GTA 5 multiplayer servers were on release. I tip my hat to Microsoft, EA, and Respawn! They didn't screw this game up, and best of all NO MICROTRANSACTIONS :P

ROI I hate the new strategy from developers, they launch broken games and patch them later. Battlefield 4 is a prime example.

Well, it's not like they know this stuff will happen. There's always issues when games first launch.

They should at least have the game playable. They SHOULD now what will happen, there's a reason for bug testing.
Devs would rather just milk consumers, than released a polished game.

It is not even remotely possible for them to do bug testing that would help them fix bugs that occur when half a million or more people are on their game. Use your brain
