Xbox One prices cut in the US

4.5
Microsoft's US arm has introduced an Xbox One price cut across its full line of available hardware bundles.

The Microsoft store has knocked $50 off the regular prices of the Xbox One Titanfall and Forza Motorsport 5 hardware bundles, which can be now be purchased for $449.99.

While these deals are advertised online as "limited time savings", the company has also slashed the price of a number of separate hardware packs, seemingly permanently.

The price of the Xbox One Play and Charge Bundle, which includes the console, controller with charging kit and a Forza Motorsport 5 download code, has been cut by $45 to $599.99.

Meanwhile the Xbox One Complete Bundle, which includes the console, 12-month Xbox Live Gold membership, a choice of two games and a Forza 5 code, has been reduced by $50 to $699.95.

Finally the Xbox One Ultimate Bundle, which includes the console, 12-month Xbox Live Gold membership, a choice of three Xbox One games and a Forza 5 code, has been dropped by $70 to $799.99.

While Microsoft's US arm hasn't officially announced an Xbox One price cut, major retailers including Walmart, Best Buy and Amazon have also reduced Xbox One hardware prices in the States.

Still waiting for the Kinect-less console. While these are good moves towards evening console prices, dropping the Kinect will make the Xbone cheaper and much more appealing to all crowds.

I think it's too early for a price cut in the US, they could have waited a few more months.

This should make it accessible to a few more. Good job world.

Miss Can't wait until they lower it some more. Think I'll get one when they're at $400.

That will be around next holiday season or after.

When the console was first released, they should've taken the Kinect off. So the consoles could be sold for less. But it's great to see that there offering a 50 dollar discount.

Think this should have been the launch price. But I figured they didn't want to do that because they would loose money on every console sold.
