He showed everyone how Microsoft was screening all of our emails which is against our right to privacy.

No he is lucky for what he received that fine could have been much larger not to mention if Microsoft wanted they could lock him up for life they have the money to make him "disappear" not to mention they could have sued him for all he is worth that is why you do not **** with large companies
I'm assuming you're not aware of federal laws in the U.S. and making him "disappear" yeah they could do that if they want to pay the consequences for it. They aren't excluded from the laws just because microsoft is a billion dollar company.
