Skype for Windows 8.1 gets an update

4.4
Microsoft released their greatly awaited Windows 8.1 update yesterday, but they also pushed out a new version of Skype for those wishing to use the communication tool on the newly released version of Windows. The update brings Skype up to 2.7 and contains some notable new features. Users are now able to appear invisible but still remain online to receive any chat messages they may be expecting while actually being able to "sign out" forcing the user's session to terminate completely.

Why? Because helping users stay plugged in but without getting overwhelmed or feeling disturbed is a tricky challenge and we look to our users to tell us what works best for them.Skype Team

They need to add a feature so you can see how many contacts you have and not just who's online
