Trials Fusion is 1080p on PS4, 900p on Xbox One

Ubisoft has confirmed that the PC and PS4 versions of Trials Fusion will run in native 1080p, while the Xbox One edition will run in 900p following a day one patch.

The Xbox 360 version of Trials Fusion will run in native 600p, "like all leading games on the platform", with each version of the game running at a constant 60fps, the publisher told B-Ten.com.

The site reports that the day one Trials Fusion patch will increase the resolution of the Xbox One version from 800p to 900p, while improving the PS4 frame rate. Further fixes focus on track, leaderboard and replay issues.

The Trials Fusion release date is April 16 on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PS4, and April 24 on PC. Fusion is the first game in the series to appear on a Sony console.

The digital download will cost £15.99, while a physical version including the base game and a season pass will be available from April 17. The season pass will be available separately for £15.99, offering access to six post-launch DLC packs containing new tracks, bike parts, rider gear and items.

You won't see the difference unless you look at the two different resolutions. 1080p just looks a lot sharper and not up-scaled. If you spend $500 on a system that's "next-gen" it should at least be in 1080p. 4k and 8k is coming around and a next gen consoles can't even maintain 1080p?

The xbox one can handle 1080p Microsoft just refuses to up the available resources to the devs so they can have there games run at 1080p.

Disappointing, it's not a demanding game at all either.
We constantly hear talk about the cloud, tiled resources and DX12. Maybe they should actually attempt to implement them, instead of just spewing PR.

1. the devs aren't familiar with the x1's esram.
2. 1080p vs 900p isn't that different. 900p has 600k less pixels than 1080p big whoop.
3. 4k will never be on consoles.

You wont even be able to see a difference, I have both PS4/Xbox One with the same games and you cannot tell the difference.

Anyway who the hell cares? The game is going to be awesome!
