Call of Duty 2014′s in-game character visual shown at GDC

Call of Duty 2014 is coming this fall, and a visual of an in-game character model was shown off by Sledgehammer Games at GDC last month.

The image, which was posted by IGN, shows how “actual in-game characters,” will look.

While it’s just a man’s face, it shows how next-gen the firm intends the game to look.

It revealed earlier this year the firm was taking a ‘next-gen first’ approach to development and insiders said the visuals represented a massive jump over Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Formats for the game have yet to be announced, but it’s assumed by many to be PC, PS4 and Xbox One only, yet other rumblings state it’s cross-generation. We’ll know more once Activision announces something.

MvPxC-Cyimking Just get rid of that stupid "purchase" system where you can buy guns / perks at any level. That's my only complaint. COD 4 was fun because you actually had to rank up to earn the best guns / perks.

Next, add more airstreaks (helicopters, AC 130, etc...) back to the game. -_-


Cod 4 was only fun because nothing was over powered IMO.


The MP5 has something to say about that. But it was by far the most balanced cod and most enjoyable.

You stupid or something? There are plenty of games out there with crappy graphics that are great. And there are games with amazing graphics that aren't too good *Cough* Thief *Cough*


Personally i cannot play crap graphic games.


CoD after black ops one have stunning god graphics but are crap! so you would rather play a beautifully looking game than a game that offers some much in terms of content and experience?

You think CODs after black ops looked good? COD is an absolute joke graphically and it's gameplay is even worse, hasn't been good since World at War.
