Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare teaser video spotlights the rise of PMCs

4.1
Activision has released a live-action video feature spotlighting the increasing prominence of modern-day PMCs (private military corporations), which will evidently play a major role in this year's new Call of Duty game.

The video comes shortly after the publisher revealed plans to announce the latest entry in its flagship shooter series on May 4 at 10am UK time (2am Pacific) via a countdown timer posted on the official Call of Duty website.

The new teaser video, entitled 'Superpower For Hire' and embedded below, looks into the real-life global rise of PMCs and their increasing employment in combat. Simultaneously, it confirms the prominent role PMCs will play in Call of Duty 2014, following previous hints on the official site in the form of hidden links pointing to articles involving PMCs.

The video starts with the quote, "In the next Call of Duty, the world's most powerful military is not a country. It's a corporation." It adds, "Could this actually happen?"

An accompanying video description also reads: "In the last 20 years, global combat has seen a steady shift towards the use of private military corporations, or PMCs. What happens when the highest bidder becomes the world's next superpower?"

They are trying to make the call of duty's too advanced, They should just keep them nice and simple like Mw2

jxremiah Sledgehammer games is a newcomer, so you never know. However, they were responsible for the blasphemy known as Modern Warfare 3. I have mixed emotions for the company.

Well it wasn't just Sledgehammer. Raven Software, Infinity Ward and Treyarch were credited in the credits as well. I had very mixed feelings about MW3 with me liking it and then hating it, however I am curious what Sledgehammer will do with this game.

I wish they would come out with another W@W or something of that sort. They need to keep it simple like W@W, CoD 4, and MW2. Those Cod's are what all CoD's should be like.

AR15 This game doesn't look any different than any other Call of Duty. They all look the same with updated graphics and an updated campaign every year.

"the members there had a part in making titles such as Dead Space, Ratchet and Clank, and Afro Samurai. Sledgehammer is now part of the Call of Duty development cycle". http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Sledgehammer_Games wait till more comes out don't give up on it yet.

The graphics for this game look too realistic which I love, seems pretty good. Cant wait until they have more on it.

I don't know. This game actually looks good.

Maggardo The teaser makes the game look decent. Who knows, with a new developer involved in making the game. It might turn out to be good.

I would like to try it out, before I give an honest opinion of the game.
