Snapchat acquires AddLive in possible move to add video chatting

Snapchat, a popular mobile picture messaging platform, has announced that they have acquired AddLive whose technology may be the firm's building blocks in order to add powerful video chatting features into their service. According to recent reports Snapchat has been on the lookout for a video technology provider such as the one they have purchased; their exact intent is unclear but we'll keep you in the loop.

I love the new Snapchat update. It's great.

Snapchat is turning out like any other messenger with chats and videoing. I don't like it. Only thing I like is the new interface.

when i got the update it took a while to get my head around it but i think its a lot better now, its just learning the new interface

This new feature is pretty hard to work, and i dont think many people will use it.
