Titanfall update now live; adds custom load-out names

The third major update for Titanfall is now live, with a full list of added features and fixes detailed.

The patch introduces deeper customisation for load-outs, including the ability to rename custom load-outs for Titans and Pilots.

Players will also be able to create two custom load-outs for each separate game mode. One custom slot will unlock once a game mode has been played five times, while the second will unlock after the tenth match.

Several new features will improve last game summary details, including the ability to view the last game's scoreboard from a lobby and filters for challenges.

Significant changes have been introduced to private matches as well, with a new set of customisation tools currently in beta. These allow users to customise everything from score and time limits, the strength of AI enemies and respawn delays.

The full list of customisation features:

Score Limit
Time Limit
AI Lethality - Controls how tough and accurate Grunts and Spectres are.
AI Types - Sets the allowed types of AI from drop pods and drop ships.
Pilot Health - Gives pilots half, normal, or double health.
Pilot Ammo - Gives pilots normal or reduced ammo.
Titan First Build Time - Adjusts how long until players acquire their first titan.
Titan Rebuild Time - Adjusts how long until players' replacement titans are ready.
Titan Shield Capacity - Normal, half, double, or disabled.
Minimap - Turns the HUD minimap on or off.
Respawn Delay - How long players must wait before spawning in again.

I really like the changes they have done to the private matches, they really made them fun for me and my friends to thane some friendly tournaments. It's really nice how they are bringing more things and still developing the game with big things since it has been release. The only thing I could still wish for is a AI controlled campaign, but I really don't see that happening.

The custom load out names is a big thing for me. I hate how it wasn't in the game before. Thats how we all recognize our class and without that you just gotta go through your classes and blah blah, but Im lazy so I like this update.

They need to do alot better tbh.It's literally like paying full price for 1/2 a game.All of the DLC should be free to make up for the serious lack of content.

Nice to see that they are updating the game and fixing their problems. I like hearing about game companies creating more options for customization.
