Japan Xbox One prices confirmed

Microsoft has finally officially confirmed Xbox One launch prices for games within Japan. While the Xbox One's predecessor had a lackluster reception in the country it appears Microsoft is hoping to avoid a repeat of last gen by offering launch bundles both with and without Kinect. Japan will be graced with the Xbox One formal launch on September 4th with the Kinect bundle for 49,980 yen (£291/$490) while a package without sensor will run consumers 39,980 yen (£233/$392).

Well at least it's cheaper and they can see the reviews about it before they get it.

Compared to the US, Japan is just a little bit cheaper, but compared to the UK it's a lot cheaper.

It's defiantly cheaper that what we had to pay in the UK I think it was 450 but not I think it's dropped to 399 but still it's cheaper than us by about 100

Kinects. The xb1 is still only in the same 13 countries it was at launch because of it.
