LittleBigPlanet 3 was announced for PS4 at E3 last week. Set for release in November, it's in development at British studio Sumo Digital, which previously worked on ‎Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and LittleBigPlanet 2's cross-controller DLC.

The game will include at least three new friends to help out Sackboy: Oddsock, who can wall jump, Toggle, who can change his size, and Swoop, who can fly. Sackboy has also learned how to climb and will wield new items to manipulate environments.

LittleBigPlanet 3 will include stages with much more depth than previous games in the series, letting players slide from foreground to background in new transition areas.

Sony says: "LittleBigPlanet 3 is a perfect showcase for PS4, featuring innovative support for the DualShock 4 wireless controller, stunning 1080p graphics and the ability to broadcast creations and gameplay clips with a touch of the Share button."
