Call of Duty Advanced Warfare multiplayer 'a big step forward'

4.2
Sledgehammer Games has said its debut Call of Duty title will shake up the series' tried and trusted multiplayer offering.

Set in the 2054, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's campaign features mech suits, hover bikes and directed energy weapons, among other futuristic gear and vehicles, some of which will also be included in the game's multiplayer component.

Sledgehammer co-founder Glen Schofield told Metro: "We'll have our own style. The exoskeletons are definitely in there and that's the core of the game."

Fellow studio co-founder Michael Condrey said: "Our multiplayer has what I'm going to call the biggest set of new, as you call it, cool gear that you've seen in a long time.

"It's a big step forward, from three years in development we've been able to innovate across the game. Everything you saw today... just imagine what that's going to mean for multiplayer. You're going to find that new is what it's all about."

Condrey also told Forbes: "On the highest level, the Advanced soldier which our E3 demo showcased is the Advanced soldier you'll see in multiplayer."

The Call of Duty Advanced Warfare release date is November 4 on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC.

Not gonna lie, I don't get how so many people are complaining. Cod's a dying franchise? Since when did another game besides battlefield even put up numbers close to it lol. I see so many comments saying "oh my god another copy and paste", "another failure of a game", etc. Tell me the last developer that's made a conscious effort to listen to the community, to go out of the norm with modern/previous settings & tech. People asked for change and they're getting it, yet the same people say "This isn't cod anymore!". I swear people just complain to complain lol. Until you've had your hands on the game, you can't say it's sh*t. Call me a fanboy if you'd like (because apparently defending something online does in fact make you that), but it's just common logic.

Hei I love how people b*tch about CoD every year, but yet we still see their fat a**'s in line waiting to get the game.

Still not impressed there is COD kiddies lurking in this topic trying to defend a dying game series...

Again, the game only gets buyers because of its campaign and zombies.
The community is dying and I hope the companies die along with it.

They ruined it since Ghosts and partially MW3.
Terrible games although I get them for free. I am not paying some cheap company that copy-pastes most code from one game to the other and calls it "New engine" "A whole new era"
More like a whole new piece of crap.

You hope the company dies out? You wouldn't want people who studied a lot of their time to get to where they are.

Call of Duty will eventually die. The developers won't. (Unless they do not create a new IP)

I would like to see Treyarch break away from Activision and make something unique (preferably not another shooter). They can do it as they made the old Spiderman 2 game which dispite being a movie licensed game, it was actually really good.

As for Call of Duty, I just don't see it lasting another 10 years. If it does it definitely will not be year by year like it currently is.

I can definitely see this game better than ghosts, honestly any COD is better than ghosts in my opinion.

ChicagoMadePunk If it's claimed to be better then Ghost then I think it's worth a try.

yes but according to each ad each year
ghosts>BO2>MW3>BO1>MW2>WaW>Cod4

-Tupac Call Of Duty has died now, i hate playing their new games.

I have the same opinion. The games are now too futuristic for my liking, cod4 and mw2 were the best in my opinion.
