Ultimate Editions announced for Madden, FIFA, NHL 15

EA will offer Ultimate Editions for three of its 2015 sports titles, bundling extra Ultimate Team card packs with Madden NFL 15, FIFA 15, and NHL 15.

The publisher announced the new versions of its upcoming titles on Friday. The Ultimate Editions cost $69.99 and offer extra goodies for Ultimate Team enthusiasts; the mode allows users to collect players represented in the form of virtual cards.

Players can collect currency to buy more card packs by assembling teams and competing against online opponents, or pick them up with real-money microtransactions.

Madden NFL 15's Ultimate Edition will include 30 Pro Packs, delivered three per week for ten weeks after launch, and a Draft Pack composed of 10 first-round picks from the 2014 NFL draft.

FIFA 15's Ultimate Edition includes 40 Gold Packs, delivered once a week for 40 weeks, the Adidas All-Star Team, access to FC Barcelona's Lionel Messi for 5 Ultimate Team games, and other bonuses including new goal celebrations.

NHL 15's Ultimate Edition includes 50 Gold Packs, delivered two per week for 25 weeks and some yet-to-be-announced items. All three editions will be available across PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, while FIFA 15 Ultimate Edition will also be released on PC.

Madden NFL 15 is planned for release on August 26 in North America and August 29 in Europe, NHL 15 on September 9 and 12, and FIFA 15 on September 23 and 26.

This is exciting, Ultimate Team in FIFA is so hype, almost as good as Live Seasons. I always get a lot of VC from 2k just from playing too much so I don't know that'll get that, and I have never been a fan of Madden UT.

Well here goes another 70 for a broken fifa that I will end up spending over 200+ on just trying to get a good player and then repeat year after year, although it is nearly the only game I play it is such a rip off...
