GTA Online picks up Independence Day Special

We'd like to tell you about Grand Theft Auto Online's Independence Day Special update. We'd love to inform you that it will grant access to all kinds of patriotic gear, like an antique musket, an American flag T-shirt, a glorious mullet hairstyle and a fireworks launcher. We'd really like to explain that it also includes a handful of tweaks and the new On Call Matchmaking feature, which lets players accept a job invite and keep playing free mode until the match is full.

We'd like to tell you all of those things, but we took one look at the above image and burst into a fit of patriotic tears.

Uff I didn't consider that firework rocket launcher a weapon. Cuz it don't destroy anything just sets stuff on fire. But cool to watch

Rin I want my money back. That monster truck was just a pathetic excuse of getting a vehicle out. 700k for a Pegasus vehicle that can't crush other vehicles? Other than that, I'm pleased with this update.


700K... I guess im not buying it seeing as I only have 400k, im saving up for a turismo.


it was such a disappointment. i would recommend trying it out in a race before buying it.


If you could actually use that in a race thatd be cool. Or better yet like an arena to destroy cars and whoever does the most damage wins

Sounds like a cool little update, I like the special clothing they give out just for a limited time. I need to get on and check out the new stuff.
