'Collectible Xbox One' units up for grabs at Comic Con

Microsoft will give away a number of 'collectible Xbox One' consoles at the San Diego Comic Con event this weekend.

The yellow Forza: Horizon 2-themed Xbox One pictured below will be among multiple decorated consoles that will be handed out to contest winners at the expo.

Those who hope to take home one of the custom units must "check out the custom consoles on display at the Xbox Gaming Lounge", then "tweet a photo of your favorite one with #XboxOne and #XboxSweeps", according to the official site.

The company will also give away a 'custom Nerdist console' to fans at home, advising those who wish to take part to monitor its official Xbox Twitter feed.

Xbox has confirmed plans to offer fans a 'first look' of Halo: Nightfall, a new live-action digital series helmed by Ridley Scott, at the San Diego Comic Con, along with several other hands-on game demos and presentations.

The San Diego Comic con takes place July 24-27 at the San Diego Convention center.

I did read the article and I stand by what I said. I agree that they look nice, but I see no reason why they would sell these for more money than the retail consoles. It just has a different look and that is how they get people. To be honest, I do hate them. Yet, that is my opinion and why should anyone else care about that. Again, just my opinion.

What he's saying makes sense they put designs on the xbox's like this and then sell them for like 100 dollars extra just because of the graphic on it. Which I don't see why it would make it that much more expensive. Not saying I don't like them because I do, I'm just saying you can't get mad at him and call him a Sony fan boy because he said that, it makes sense.

Some of these consoles look really nice. The Halo one is definitely my favorite.
