GTA Online Heists: player roles and maximum payouts leaked

Players will be able to take on at least six different roles in GTA Online Heists, according to game code.

Driver, hacker, hired gun, leader, parachutist and sniper have all been uncovered in Grand Theft Auto 5′s source code, along with simple icons for each role.

It’s not known if these are all player roles, NPCs roles or a combination of the two. According to another modder, the maximum payout for pulling off a heist is $1.5 million, although this will decline the more you replay the mission.

GTA Online Heists have been promised since the game released but have yet to be included in any kind of DLC drop. We’ve already seen the animations that characters in-game will be using.

Now the game has been confirmed for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, we’re half expecting Heists to be released at the same time as the next-gen versions of the game.

How exactly are they going to work? That’s a big question.

I hope that it holds to be true as well. I am really looking forward to the heists and what not.


I have a feeling they will come out some time after the next gen releases

I honestly can't wait til Heists, I love GTA V and due to the fact that I don't duplicate cars, or do any glitchs to obtain money unfairly I would love to get a lot of cash quickly, maybe get the chance to buy my Titan!

GILF the heists should have been released a long time ago but now they have just taken too long to release something that will get boring after doing about 2 of them


110% agree with you on that one. Everyone has everything they want so what will be the point of heists?

We did get heists on launch. It's in story mode. They never promised online heists at launch. Online wasn't even out at launch.

Sanctorum The game has been out for near 11 months and still no heists. It's quite shocking that we're still waiting for them tbh. I suppose it's good that there is more and more information being leaked but damn, R* are taking their time. The Zombies DLC sounds pretty awesome too, king of like the undead nightmare DLC for Red Dead which would be pretty cool to have in GTA V.

I'm assuming Heists will be released at the same time GTA V is released on next gens but we can only hope since it's taken them ages already.


Yeah. Every DLC we hope for them but we are left in dark.
