Evolve beta coming exclusively to Xbox One in January

The beta for Evolve will be coming exclusively to Xbox One in January, Microsoft announced on Tuesday during its Gamescom press conference.

It also confirmed that 'premium downloadable content' will also be released first on Xbox One.

Blending cooperative and competitive multiplayer experiences as a team of four hunters face off against a single, player-controlled monster on an alien planet in the distant future, Evolve is the latest game from Turtle Rock Studios, the co-creators of Left 4 Dead.

The game will launch with multiple monsters, hunters, game modes, and more than a dozen maps.

Originally due to hit shops on October 21, the game will now release on February 10, 2015.

Ethics Why do they only limit themselves to one console?

Wouldn't they get a better audience by targeting every console out.


It says stuff will be released first on Xbox implying it is a CoD like cycle (Xbox gets DLC earlier)

We have some exclusives right now but they are just indie games.


Titanfall??? I'm not a big fan of exclusives as I would of liked to play an Infamous game or The Last of Us but I'm glad we got this one.


Titanfall isn't an XB1 exclusive...?

OT: I'm looking forward to the game, hopefully it can live up to follow the L4D mod support and allow much more enjoyable stuff on PC.


Titanfall is a console exclusive compared to pa4, no need to always bring PC in, Microsoft is also involved with computers so I'm sure they would want their games on them
