Microsoft confirms Rise of the Tomb Raider Xbox exclusivity

For a vocal group of fans it's not just a business move, but a killing blow. Microsoft's claim to Rise of the Tomb Raider, as an Xbox-only game for Holiday 2015, is incurring the sort of backlash and petition-signing flurry (seen above) that's well known to veterans of the infamous console wars. And it's not even the first time a Tomb Raider sequel has been through this – just ask Sega Saturn owners who had to get a PC or PlayStation if they wanted to a keep their streak of unearthed relics.

Some Tomb Raider games in the past have ben enjoyable, can people really say that they would kill the game if it was released ?
The game may not be for ones tastes but another enjoy the game. Therefore it comes down to personal preference and what people enjoy.

these days games shouldn't be exclusive and I wish video gaming companies like Microsoft and sony would learn that this isn't making very many consumers happy. I'm mean I do have and xbone and a 360 but I've also got a piss poor(ps4) and a ps3 so I feel for both consoles. but we all know xbox will always be more fun.

SwissCheese Tomb raider is an very exciting game for me, I played it on xbox 360 and made it to level 60, but sadly no prestige.

Majority of other news sites have this game labeled as a timed exclusive seeing as the franchise couldn't possibly survive without selling on other consoles. Don't be silly commenters. There is no way you could tell me that selling only to Xbone will justify the cost of producing the game. Since Tomb Raider 2013 sold on 5 different platforms (that i'm aware of) and has only recently reached 6.5 million units.

Yeah, it's a timed exclusive.
