Dishonored currently free on Steam and Xbox Live Gold

Dishonored is currently free to play through Steam and Xbox Live Gold.

The critically acclaimed first-person stealth action game joins Borderlands 2 as one of Steam's free weekend games until Sunday at 1pm Pacific Time (4pm Eastern Time / 9pm BST).

During the same period, players can also buy Dishonored for 75 per cent off its regular price. The standard version costs £2.49/$5, while the Game of the Year version, which includes The Knife of Dunwall and The Brigmore WItches DLC packs, is only £6.79/$10.19.

The Xbox 360 version of the title is also free to download for Xbox Live Gold subscribers until the end of the month as part of August's Games with Gold offering.

Dishonored launched on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 in October 2012. CVG's Dishonored review labelled the title "one of the greatest games of this generation".

I couldn't really get into Dishonored. It just didn't have good gameplay in my opinion.

I got this game, it's pretty amazing. Beat it one 1 day. Probably among my favorites.

I strongly suggest anyone who hasn't played Dishonored yet take advantage of this. It's a great game that can be finished in a weekend.

Alfa I was SO INCREDIBLY EXCITED for dishonored but I never ended up getting it because the graphics on last-gen were nauseating. I wish it was just *free* as in you get to keep it, this timed stuff gets annoying.


Its free to keep, if you downloaded it but you run out of space, delete it and then redownload later from your download history

I missed this, a few people told me to try it out, but I was busy playing other games for achievements and such, so I never got around to downloading it. Oh well, if it's ever free to try again, I'll try it out.

Yes it is. This game, even though it is short, is a lot of fun. And it being free makes it even better! :D
