After many months of speculation and the competition announcing their goods, Apple has announced it's play into the wearables market with the Apple Watch.
Tim Cook said that they did not intend to take the iPhone and slap it on your wrist, a subtle jab at Android smart watches.
The rotary dial on the side of the device plays a key part and acts like a multifunction input mechanism.
Tohka This thing looks great. Hopefully it connects with your iPhone wirelessly like the Galaxy Gear does to your Samsung.
I wouldn't think so, the main problem I have with it is that you would have to charge it just as you would your phone. There isn't a need for an Apple Watch nowadays, everyone can tell time through their phone.
My view over the past few weeks has come round to thinking the square shape is best to display info. Theyve been clever to give it very rounded corners.
Right now I think the Asus Zen Watch is the best looking and most practical shape, and I thought that before todays presentation.
Cokes I think people are missing the point of style and convenience with a product like this. You take a general idea and function of a watch, and give it to a technology company, amazing things happen. Without even knowing too much about it, people are already under the notion of "it sucks". Give it a chance people.
If my hospital allows me to wear this over a regular G-shock this will have my purchase.
