Destiny patch reduces difficulty, addresses raid issues

Bungie has released a new Destiny patch.

The studio says the title update reduces the difficulty of a number of activities and addresses issues with the game's first six-player raid, Vault of Glass.

Patch notes

Missions:

Shrine of Oryx: Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers
Sword of Crota: Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers
Exclusion Zone: Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers
Raids:
Dropping the relic at the end of the raid will no longer result in a team wipe. This will prevent players being stuck at a black screen after the raid.
You will remain dead if you were dead when the mission ended. That will be addressed by a future patch.


The patch was released ahead of today's launch of Destiny's latest public event, Queen's Wrath. It runs until October 6 and offers players the chance to earn Unique Legendary Gear and Unique Rare Gear.

"The Queen's emissary is prepared to reward Guardians who extinguish the enemies of the Reef," reads an official description. "New Bounties will be available, and challenging missions and modes await those who prove themselves."

Bungie recently announced plans to double the frequency of Destiny public events.

That is pretty true. Havent really seen a game that is actually mostly impossible to play these days.

They should make it so it will match you with people who also want to do this. I don't know about everyone else but I don't even have 5 other friends that play this game to do the raid with me.

I think they should make the difficulty change optional, Most players will most likely want it too be a challenge

PZ7 I hope they don't patch the loot cave soon, I'm hoping to actually get a legendary that wont turn into a blue.


I've probably logged about 3-4 hours farming that cave and not a single legendary engram has dropped for me. The only legendary I got was from the cryptarch level and it was for a ******* hunter :/


Exact same thing has happened for me. But only 2 or 3 hours.

Still, kind of good they're aware of this.
