Bungie is asking for your feedback on Destiny’s Iron Banner

Destiny’s Iron Banner event has only been live for one day, and players are discovering that -when it comes to gear stats- it’s not working as advertised.

The Iron Banner is a PVP event where your gear and armour stats will carry over to multiplayer and won’t be “balanced” to provide a level playing field, instead, everyone gets to duke it out and see who’s got the best gear.

This isn’t the case though, according to some players. Bungie has heard those comments and is soliciting feedback. “Were you detecting an advantage attributed to your more powerful gear and weapons? Did the experience feel different than standard Crucible combat?” asked community manager Deej.

“Talk to me, Guardians. I know people quit games when they know they won’t win. I’m more curious about your perceptions for how the power-level advantages work. Help me help you.”

It’s worth noting that you currently do not incur any penalties for leaving a Crucible match in-progress.

I hate it, it promotes quitting mid game because you get nothing for losing.

TDK_Jr I don't really feel the gear comes into play because even though we are matched with low levels, I feel like they still easily kill us. Also the loot rewards system is just legendary legendary. Have yet to see any exotic items go out.

I have yet to see a legendary ever given in crucible or Iron Banner... Much less a Extoic. I`m level 27 on two classes.

Engrams, not items. They give out exotics as well.

I'd tell them that they made a great game and that they shouldn't change anything about it. Unless of course, they want to ruin it. Too lazy to tell them that though.

Unless you are under level 25 there is little difference at all it seems.
It also seems to render pulse rifles and hand cannons more ineffective. If someone has a half way decent assault rifle, fusion, shotgun, etc then you are done for.
I find i need to use my rare AR over my exotic hand cannon
