Studio head of development Michael Condrey took to Reddit yesterday to thank CoD fans for "a great day zero", adding: "It's Day One, and we're actively listening for ways to make Advanced Warfare even better."
Condrey then listed "some of the polish items that we are working on (not in priority order). The features listed were:
MP chat icon size and placement.
Kill confirmed score limit
Camo challenge tuning
Prestige emblem reset
Speed reload timing
2XP messaging
Score mismatch when player leaves public lobby. (Doesn't affect Combat Record)
COD Vision team color improvements
"Would love to hear from you on other top opportunities for improvement," Condrey added. "Please share your voice and help Advanced Warfare be the best community built game to date."
Rather predictably, many of the comments from other Redditors have instead asked Condrey to implement dedicated servers for the game in order to ensure a more stable, lag-free connection when playing against others.
Call of Duty Advanced Warfare was released this week. Early reviews have been positive, suggesting a return to form for the long-running series.
Based on pre-orders, analysis firm Cowen and Company has predicted Advanced Warfare sales won't match up to those of its predecessor, Call of Duty: Ghosts, although Activision thinks this prediction may be short-sighted.
