Minecraft: Pocket Edition update 0.10 gets major changes

Minecraft: Pocket Edition received an update earlier this week that brought some major changes with it. Changes brought with the update include changes to the graphics and performance of the game.

Update notes for 0.10 are listed below and are also on the offical Minecraft: Pocket Edition Twitter.

- Load of bug fixes!
- More watery-looking water
- Foggier-looking fog
- Even more particles than before
- Tinted lighting on terrain and mobs
- Improved performance on many devices
- More fences! More fence gates! Everyone loves fences
- Gold mines in Mesa biomes. Get rich quick
- Baby animals can now swim without sinking

Why does the OS of a device dictate if software needs updates?

I bought this but couldn't get along with it, I found it really hard to use after playing the PC version for years.
