limited Xbox Live service, PlayStation Network still down

Microsoft has restored a limited service to Xbox Live users after the online gaming platform was allegedly taken down by hackers.

A group named Lizard Squad has claimed responsibility for the disruption, which is still affecting Sony's Playstation Networks.

The outages come just over a week after threats by hackers forced Sony to cancel public screenings of a satirical film.

Both companies expected heavy use as people who received Microsoft Xboxes or Sony PlayStations on Christmas Day tried to hook up.

PSN is down for most.
I have made a quick tutorial on how to get it to work for now

slapshot101 This really sucks for all the people out there who just got their games. It also really sucks for us who are missing out on event's like the 2XP Weekend on Advanced warfare or the GTA V special gear.


It's only been down for a day and now it's only down for some people, when it was down on Christmas people should have been spending time with there family and friends not playing there console grinding it out trying to get loads of xp on advanced warfare.

They've stopped the DDOS Attacks on them, they are just being hit with the aftermath of it.
