Report: UK police arrest Lizard Squad member

UK police have reportedly arrested a Lizard Squad member Vinnie Omari on Monday. Lizard Squad is notoriously known for the DDoS attacks on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. Omari was not arrested for the attacks on Xbox Live and PSN, but for stealing from PayPal accounts.

Lizard Squad has not said much on the recent arrest of the member, but has made fun of a security guru, Brian Krebs, who tweeted out a copy of the bail notice.

This arrest comes after Finnish police caught another Lizard Squad member nicknamed "Ryan Clearly."

tbh I still don't reckon it was even them, there's usually holiday outages, there was last christmas on the PS4 and XB1?

Hacktivists are probably the most brainless people ever, despite being so damn smart. I almost feel sorry for them until I remember it's their fault anyway.

It's only one guy and apparently Lizard Squad is a organisation with 100s of people in so they'll have trouble finding the rest atleast it's a start to something though! :D


But if the police cut a deal with is guy then they could uncover many more members

Typical someone thinking they are correct, if you read this was UK police who arrested Vinnie Omari, the Finish police arrested Ryan Clearly. Learn to read before acting smart. Dumb ass.
