Treyarch is teasing something to do with Zombies

Call of Duty: Black Ops and Black Ops 2 developer Treyarch is teasing some sort of announcement on Wednesday, and it has to do with zombies.

The developer took to Twitter to tease information of a live-stream that will take place this Wednesday, February 4.

As the hashtag reveals, this will be during the DICE summit, which takes place February 3-5. Teyarch was the first studio to bring Zombies mode into Call of Duty with World at War. Since then, it has been staple of Treyarch’s Call of Dut(ies), and most recently, Sledgehammer Games’ Advanced Warfare.

That being said, it would be pretty early for Activision or Treyarch to announce a new Call of Duty game, or even talk about one. Usually, that event is reserved for May. This could be a new spin-off series or just development talk about what the studio will bring with the next installment of Zombies.

At any case, you’ll be the first to know when we have any new information.

The D.I.C.E. summit (stands for Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) is an annual event where several game developers and executives host panels and discuss the production and business sides of the industry. Some publishing deals are known to start there.

maybe then this cod is another ww2 cod but from a diffrent story line and zombies mode could be before the 4 heros of waw

HOF I doubt they are going to make a game of just zombies however that would be cool.


I think it is possible because they know that there is demand for a COD zombies game. Also, if the game wasn't strictly zombies, why wouldn't they tease some of the campaign or multiplayer as well?


If they made a straight up zombies game I would buy it for $100 no questions asked.


Tbh I probably would do the same now that I think of it. If it is on Xbox One/PS4 count me in! The graphics, gameplay and physics would be awesome. Not to mention the potential for map sizes because of the new systems and extra space because it is strictly zombies! I can't wait to see what they reveal!

this sounds like its going to be pretty cool im a fan of zombies and cant wait till theres a new one i think sledgehammer did good it there zombies and i think treyarch can do even better especially if they make something related to world at war

Odds Putting money on it being a game with just all Treyarch zombie maps on it, or atleast that being the main selling point. Thought they'd do that since Black Ops 1. Still, If it's a reasonable price I'll buy it.


Instead of making CoD, they should just make a game more dedicated to Zombies. Imagine playing with 2 teams of six players working together to survive the zombie horde. Or if that's not your taste. What about a game mode like free for all, where the last man standing wins (no revives). So many possibilities.


The game you just described is called, Left For Dead xD
