PSN Going Down for Three Hours on Thursday Due to Maintenance

Sony Computer Entertainment just announced on its official forums that the PlayStation Network will undergo a maintenance on Thursday 12th February from 5 PM until 8:30 PM GMT, translating to 12 PM until 3:30 PM EST.

For the duration of the maintenance you will be unable to login to Account Management and the PS Store. PS Home will also be unavailable.

PS4 users will be able to access online gameplay only if their system is activated as their Primary system and they have recently signed into their SEN account and have their authentication details cached. If your PS4 system is not activated as the Primary system, online gaming may not be available.

PS3 and PS Vita users may experience limited PSN functionality, however online gameplay will be available to users who have recently signed into their SEN account and have their authentication details cached.

Users who do not have their details cached, will not be able to sign-in to their account or begin an online gaming session.

There may be some additional downtime after the maintenance period for testing purposes.

Time to make sure you log in before the maintenance if you want to keep playing.

I got both the Xbox One and the PS4. Originally only Xbox 360/Xbox Original.

I can say, out of all the times I have ever seen an online service down. PSN has been down a lot. Yes Xbox has it's kinks, but I mean come on?

1. Xbox Live goes down
2. Microsoft announces some people might have issues, and they are investigating/fixing
3. Fixes problem, with some people not even noticing outage

1. PSN planned maintenance
2. Everyone has to stop playing completely

I don't know, I see that is a real problem with PSN.
