Titanfall 2 Probably Coming To PS4, Says EA

During today’s Technology, Internet & Media Conference in San Francisco, Blake Jorgensen (CFO at Electronic Arts) dropped a heavy hint that Titanfall 2 is coming in all likelihood to PlayStation 4.

Last year it was on the Xbox only; in the future, we haven’t yet announced, but we’ll probably have another Titanfall game. It will probably be a bigger footprint than just a single platform. I think that’s a huge positive for us.

Truthfully, the first Titanfall game also released on PC, but clearly Jorgensen was referring to the console market. Since Wii U isn't really a console known for its shooters, the only other next generation console on the market is PlayStation 4.

Incidentally, Sony’s latest console is also the most successful one in this generation so far, which is why Jorgensen highlighted that it would be a “huge positive” for Electronic Arts if Titanfall 2 was indeed released for PS4 as well.

That said, Titanfall proved to be somewhat of a disappointment in the long run as its gameplay became stale over the course of just a few weeks after launch. What kind of improvements would you like to see from Respawn Entertainment in a sequel? Let us know in the comments.

Titanfall died out fast, Wonder why they decided to make another one.

I think if they add a better single player they will have a better success with it as the multiplayer campaign was boring so I woudnt buy it unless it had a proper campaign.

They put out enough hype for Titanfall but the game just felt boring after a few games at a time - Very low replayability for most of us.
Considering they have to hype the second game past the point of "We admit the first wasn't as good as it should be" and then still enough to sell it out.


They should rename it. It's going to be just slightly better graphics and frame rates for the same game.

I have to agree. There was so much hype and potential for this game, but it lacked content and things of that nature and that is the biggest reason that I would say that it didn't make it.


It's like the game was a bomb that failed to detonate XD

Novh TitanFall was fun for a little, but honestly got old very fast!


I completely agree my friend, I never enjoyed the game for long, I don't see much more potential in the franchise, I really think they should come up with something else...

Edgy Its not gonna be popular with all the new games coming.


It will be popular but I doubt it will come even close to the first one.
