Twitch Plays Halo (Not Very Well)

4.7
Halo: Combat Evolved is now the latest game to join the ranks of the Twitch Plays phenomenon, and it's absolutely painful to watch.

Previous Twitch Plays entries, including Pokemon and Legend of Zelda, featured gameplay where actions are triggered by commands written in the Twitch chat stream. In Halo, however, users in the chat are required to not only manipulate the playable character through 3D space but also a reticule, making it comparatively more difficult for the collective of players.

You can watch the game as it's played below:

That really made me laugh watching that but it would be hard to play once you have like 30 enemy's looking at you and trying to kill you but you would think they would choose a easier game for twitch plays.

Staggie Someone explain this? I have never head of "Twitch plays"

Either am I, I am a bit confused on how exactly this works?

Where have you two been for the past year? And that's why they also posted not only a description of what it is, but also the actual stream. Badge whores.

I still do not get it..

So people in chat type what goes on? Then it happens on screen, so how does it work with so many people?

Elise Sounds fantastic ! It's just brilliant

It's really not.

It was okay with Pokemon, especially w/ smaller channels. There were smaller channels that did the same thing, so with a few people, actually working together you could train/level up your Pokemon, beat the Gym Leaders, and eventually challenge the Elite Four.

Yeah but those games started with tons of viewers so they got no where.. Im sure when it gets to a smaller viwer base itll go mucch smoother.

"They got no where" they completed Pokemon Red, I remember watching most of the stream it was actually quite fun
