You can begin preloading Grand Theft Auto V on April 7th

The hot news comes straight from Rockstar’s support site via their FAQ. “Yes, pre-loads via Rockstar Warehouse and Steam will be available on April 7th.” Rockstar confirmed. “We will update this page with an exact time as soon as that information is available.

"If you pre-ordered GTAV from a digital retailer other than Rockstar Warehouse or Steam, please contact your retailer’s customer support departments for details on pre-loads.”

Steam puts a 65GB minimum hard drive requirement on the game, so you might need to do some spring cleaning to accommodate all the high-res texture goodness.

Download and install for this game is huge. Makes no sense to have this game on HDD, needs to be on an SSD IMO. I don't understand why so many people pre-ordered though, especially with how badly optimised GTA IV was on PC. Weird that people never learn lol

Was hoping to get GTA V on PC but you need really good specs to be able to run it which is a shame :(

Point 65GB is alot depending on how much storage you have on your computer.


If you don't have 1TB in a Gaming PC I don't know what you're doing. Some are Cheaper than a new Xbone game...


yea idk who would have a gaming computer without a large HDD. But that download is what turns me away from this game it'd take me 3 entire days of straight downloading to get this done lol.


Then buy a physical copy and install it that way.
