Sony introduces PS Plus Specials for exclusive members-only discounts

PS plus members have enjoyed the benefit of a couple of free titles each month, but Sony has finally put together a new scheme to offer exclusive deals and discounts, similar to Microsoft’s Xbox Live promotions.

In a blog post on Tuesday, Digital Distribution Manager Chieh Chen said “We’ve been listening to your feedback, and today I’m thrilled to announce PlayStation Plus Specials, our brand-new deals program offering exclusive discounts for PS Plus members on the newest games and add-ons. That’s right, these deals will be available to PS Plus members only.”

“In addition to the latest top titles at a sweet discount, these limited-time sale events will offer select DLC bundles exclusively to PS Plus members.”

The deals include Bloodborne and The Order: 1886 for 20% off along with discounted bundles from Dragon Ball Xenoverse, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare and Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines.

Unfortunately the offer is US only at the moment, but hopefully we’ll see it roll out for other regions. If you’re in the US, you’re one lucky duck, and you’ve got until June 1 to take advantage of this week’s deals. You can peruse the listings below.

You-Tube Pfftttt, reason Xbox is better, they treat their Customers better. Not saying PS is bad, i love PS and have since the PS1, where we had it day 1 as my dad said. But seriously PS, get yo Sh it together!

True but I really don't like PS. Xbox is better but they ban people for no reason.

Heard the Order was good. Hopefully as time goes on PSN gets some better deals on more popular games.

Looks like a good handful of games, though I probably wouldn't play all of them, still looks like a good amount of decent games.
