Xbox One Black Ops 3 Pre-Orders Outpacing PS4 In the US

The latest pre-order charts have been released as of April 11th, 2015. The chart shows the position of Black Ops 3 pre-orders in its second week available for pre-order.

As you can see with 2 weeks worth of pre-orders, the Xbox One version of Black Ops 3 is estimated to have about 174k pre-orders while the PS4 version has about 120k. That’s actually pretty impressive for Xbox One since the PS4 is estimated to have a 700k hardware lead in the US over the Xbox One.

Call Of Duty is definitely more popular on Xbox and a big reason for that is that the platform gets DLC 1 month earlier than the PS4, something that is rumored to change with the upcoming Black Ops 3.

Would never happen. Microsoft would not let that happen. Good luck waiting a month if your on playstation.

Yeah I agree, even back from the COD 4 days it has been. Might also help because DLC comes out 1 month earlier for Xbox users also.

Mickers I've never even pre ordered a game hahaha. Don't see the point really.


Normally they include some sort of exclusive and for some people its just them ordering the game and getting it on the day it comes out rather then going out and getting it.
