Black Ops 3 Design Director ‘Teasing’ A Surprise

Treyarch’s studio design director David Vonderhaar has taken to Twitter to tease something Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 related. Although currently unknown what and when the design director will be ‘sharing’ on the upcoming shooter his ‘teasing’ came in a set of 2 tweets.

Apart from a teaser and reveal trailer for the upcoming Black Ops 3 not much has been revealed about Treyarch’s latest Black Ops installment.

The teasing from Vonderhaar started a few hours ago when the design director took to twitter to share a mechanical monkey wearing some sort of a backpack with a bomb to wind up. The image was accompanied with the message “Get Ready for a surprise”:

After the tweet many fans replied that they were hoping for a zombie mode in the shooter and monkey bombs.

A few hours later Vonderhaar send out another tweet, this time about the E3 deadline. Vonderhaar writes that he can’t wait to show what’s up and says that he will talk to us more later:

Zombies have been getting better in each Treyarch COD. This could be a great year for Zombies.


I think it hasn't. Too futuristic and not like the old school zombies. Let's hope I'm wrong.

Yeah it sucked on Advanced Warfare.


Sucked on BO2 as well. WAW and B01 is the way to go.


Couldn't agree more. I hated BO2 zombies but everyone else thought it was amazing, for whatever reason. BO3 better have either good zombies, or single player because I'm expecting multiplayer to be shit anyway and I just want at least one of the 3 modes to be good.


I quite enjoyed BO2 zombies, wasn't better than BO1 though.
