Phil Spencer to discuss Windows 10 on stage at E3 PC Gaming Show

Xbox boss Phil Spencer will discuss Windows 10 at the first ever PC Gaming Show at E3 2015.


Spencer’s presentation was confirmed by PC Gamer which is hosting the conference.

“For us, the PC Gaming Show is the ideal place to speak directly to PC gamers, and it’s a great time to talk about Windows 10 – the best operating system we’ve ever created for gamers on PCs,” Spencer said.

“With Windows 10, we’re bringing the best of Xbox with the best of Windows gaming, and DirectX 12 for better gaming graphics and performance.”

AMD, Blizzard, Bohemia Interactive, CCP, Dean Hall, Fullbright, Obsidian Entertainment, Paradox and Square Enix are just some of the participants which will be featured at the conference.

The PC Gaming Show will take place on June 16 at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles and it will be livestreamed on Twitch.

Windows 10 is great. Nice to see it on Xbox.

Znait DX12 will let us fully utilize GPU's in SLI. So say 3 970s would normally be only 4gb of vram, but now it will stack, so it will be 12.


DX12 is going to be benging. Should open much more up for SLI/XFire, so yay.

Only if developers support it when making their games. Otherwise it'd be the same as it always has.

I'm actually pretty excited about how Windows 10 and Xbox are going to be more connected, hope it goes well.

Hopefully they bring games like Forza and Halo to PC.. it's been so long since we've had incredible games like those.

This will be a great year for E3 this year. How they will implement Windows 10 into the Xbox One will be interesting to hear about.

I probably wont even use Windows 10 to be honest.


Windows 7 has been working just fine for me.
