Phil Spencer to discuss Windows 10 on stage at E3 PC Gaming Show

Xbox boss Phil Spencer will discuss Windows 10 at the first ever PC Gaming Show at E3 2015.


Spencer’s presentation was confirmed by PC Gamer which is hosting the conference.

“For us, the PC Gaming Show is the ideal place to speak directly to PC gamers, and it’s a great time to talk about Windows 10 – the best operating system we’ve ever created for gamers on PCs,” Spencer said.

“With Windows 10, we’re bringing the best of Xbox with the best of Windows gaming, and DirectX 12 for better gaming graphics and performance.”

AMD, Blizzard, Bohemia Interactive, CCP, Dean Hall, Fullbright, Obsidian Entertainment, Paradox and Square Enix are just some of the participants which will be featured at the conference.

The PC Gaming Show will take place on June 16 at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles and it will be livestreamed on Twitch.

Zensei I honestly hope MS doesn't try to take over PC gaming, Steam is doing a way better job imo.

But, I'm still keeping my mind open to trying new things.


If you look at PC Gaming History you will see MS trying to get in with PC Gaming only to abandon it a few years later. Remember the good old Games for Windows Live? Yeah. That.

Direct x 12 support so yes.


that means nothing, windows 7 and windows 8 run the same directx api and W7 beats it in most games, also you seem to not know about vulkan api which will destroy durectx 12 very easily in performance.
