Fallout 4 Bethesda’s Most Ambitious Game to Date, says Director

After many uncontrolled rumors and unconfirmed reports, Bethesda Softworks has finally announced Fallout 4, the sequel to Fallout 3 and the first title from the studio since The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in 2011.
In the press release, Game Director Todd Howard released this

We know what this game means to everyone. The time and technology have allowed us to be more ambitious than ever. We’ve never been more excited about a game, and we can’t wait to share it.

Today you can have a glimpse of Fallout 4 with its first trailer (embedded below), however the full reveal will take place during Bethesda’s E3 2015 Showcase (the first ever held by the studio) at Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California on June 14, beginning at 7PM PST. As customary with these conferences nowadays, everything will be livestreamed via Twitch and YouTube for your viewing pleasure.

Cyimking I wonder if they added co-op? Fallout 3 was good, Fallout NV was good, so Fallout 4 will be good. The map looks huge but hopefully it's the same size or even bigger than gta v's map.


Size of gta5 map? Have you ever played a fallout game. They are way bigger than the gta5 map.


I love fallout so yes I played it however I believe that gta v's map is bigger than fallout's NV & fallout's 3 map. I mean, think about it. In either fallout game, you could walk from the bottom of the map to the top in reasonable time. If you try to walk from the top of gta v map to the bottom, you will most likely say eff it and get into a car.


does gta 5 really have a bigger map ?


I don't know the specs but to me it feels that way. If gta v didn't have transportation then traveling would take hours to do.

Many fallout fans do not want it because it has traditionally been a player centered RPG and many feel that having parts of the game only accessible to multiplayer players would ruin it.

Yeah the maps a freaking huge. But what im really looking forward too is a addition to the story :3
