Confirmed: Fallout 4 will run at 1080p and 30fps on PS4, Xbox One, PC Unlimited

Fallout 4 will run at 1080p and 30 frames-per-second on everything, it has been revealed.

Fallout 4 director Todd Howard confirmed the news to Digital Spy at this year's E3 gaming expo.

"It is 1080p on everything," he said, before confirming that it would run at 30fps and not 60fps.

Fallout 4, which is set in post-apocalyptic Boston, is the first new entry in the role-playing series since 2010's New Vegas.

Players will be able to build structures and defences within the game world, while mod support has been confirmed for PC, followed by Xbox One.

Update 2: After the comments by Pete Hines we removed this from our homepage but today Bethesda has confirmed that it's indeed true.
Update: Bethesda confirmed that the PC version of the game will be uncapped, and that 1080p/30fps only applies to the console versions.

So You are telling us that if fall out 4 was made with stick figures and you were forced to play it at 800x600 it would be a fun game?
Graphics is part of game play. Better looking games tend to be better to play. They are more appealing to the eye.


The graphics don't make a difference : gameplay > graphics

yeah i dont care how bad the graphics are on a fallout game the story and how much you can do in the game is what i am lloking for

No it isnt it being a good game is what makes it good not the graphics, the new all of duty games may have better graphics then the old one but doesnt mean they are better than the old ones
