The Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta will kick off this August, first on PlayStation 4.

Treyarch tweeted the news this afternoon.

Those who pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One will receive automatic access to the beta. A tester for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 isn’t in the cards.

The world premiere of Black Ops 3 Zombies will take place at San Diego Comic-Con tomorrow and Activision is expected to drop news on the Collector’s Editions alongside the reveal.

The premiere will occur at 1pm PT/4pm ET/9pm UK during a panel hosted by Treyarch’s Zombie director, Jason Blundell and lead writer, Craig Houston.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 releases on November 6 for PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

His family are pretty minted, so it's probably no problem.

That and the fact that COD exclusivity was one of the main reasons people were getting the One. With that gone I really don't see why someone would buy such a complicated, ugly console meant for Netflix and TV.


LOL are you serious? Nobody actually bought Xbox Ones just for Call of Duty exclusivity. People bought Xboxs because they prefer them over the other console. I don't see why people sit here and try to argue their console is better. It's **** stupid.

Kind of sucks it's at the end of the holidays though.. I'll only be able to for like 11 days until I go back to school :( + I'm on Xbox and it's coming out later so that sucks even more

Damn that's a little early for the beta isn't it? I would think that it would be like maybe a month or two before the game comes out... 3 seems a little early.
