PS4 firmware 2.57 is now live, brings stability fixes

The next PS4 system software update is “coming soon”, Sony has announced.

Unfortunately it doesn’t add whatever exciting feature it is you’ve been nagging Sony for; firmware 2.57 is “a minor update that improves stability of some features”.

Aren’t you glad you have been informed of this fascinating development? At least you’ll know not to get excited when you hit the update screen next.

Does anyone know what the update will possibly fix? Could it be the disc reading issues some users have had?

Xbox one is still better , just the updates they do are better , but pc is still the best , sucks i don't have a good pc

Yes, I hope Sony releases something cool on a next update after this one, But this should fix the issue with reading disc's which I have not had any issues with.
