Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta getting new map, mode, and level cap

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta players on PlayStation 4 are in for a treat today.

Treyarch is updating the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta today. The update raises the level cap to 34, a few notches higher than the current 28.

The Stronghold map is also getting added, as is Uplink, the sports-inspired mode that debuted in last year’s Advanced Warfare. Players who reach Level 34 can also play the specialist, Reaper.

Treyarch’s design director David Vonderhaar is the one who revealed the details above, adding that less than 10% of players have reached the current level cap.

It’s unclear if this will be a server or a client-side update. Once we know for sure, we’ll update the story.

Daniel- they should of made the level cap 40 ,
you are at 34 to quick in my opinion
i hope it is a good new mode as well !!!

They raised the cap to 40 now.

Teq I dont see a point in the level cap lol.. I dont see a point for the beta either. Why would you waste time ranking up and stuff just to get reset :|

To test out glitches and to get a feel of the game, to see if you want to buy it or not. I wasn't going to buy it until the beta.

And there's a level cap because you don't want to release everything that is on the game.

The reason for the beta is to test servers, gain hype, and get a feel if people are liking what they are playing. And in return you get to play the game early and maybe help out the developer.

Too, Bad people are going to level up to 34 and then they are going to reset when the full game is released. But I do like the new map its amazing and Uplink is alot better then the advanced warfare one.
