Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer won't have map voting or veto system

It looks like Microsoft and 343 Industries are taking the Halo series and shaking it up to bring players a new experience. Halo 5: Guardians won't be featuring splitscreen or LAN support in the game's multiplayer or campaign, there are some that agree with this and some that don't.

It turns out that Halo 5 won't have another feature from the games of old -- there won't be any map voting and veto system. Replying to fan questions on Twitter, Josh Holmes the Studio Head at 343 Industries revealed that the maps would be using a simple rotation process.

Holmes did not specify whether the maps would be randomly selected or maintain the same set rotation over and over again. If it's the latter, it's no better than the voting and veto system - in that system we had the chance of experiencing the same map, over and over and over again, but at least we felt like we were in control. With a set rotation we get to experience the same rotation of maps, a random selection would be so much better.
