Star Fox Zero delayed to 2016

Nintendo has announced that Star Fox Zero is not releasing in 2015. A message from designer Shigeru Miyamoto was posted earlier, revealing the news.

“Although we felt that the development had been progressing well, we now believe that we will need a little more time to work on areas such as the unprecedented discovery that we want players to experience in the game by using two screens, and further polishing the level designs and perfecting the tone of the cut scenes,” said Miyamoto.

“While we have already reached the stage where it would be technically possible to release the title in time for the year-end holiday season, we want to polish the game a bit more so that players will be able to more smoothly grasp the new style of play that we are proposing.”

As for a new release date, the message confirmed it has now been moved to Q1 2016.

Star Fox Zero was one of E3 2015’s surprise announcements and was slated for release in November.

That's a shame. I have been waiting for a new star fox in forever the 64 Remake on the 3DS was as good as the original, but... I want something new!

SSASProdigy Looking at all these posts saying, "Never heard of star fox." GOOD GOD. Such a shame. No kid will ever understand the endless fun the Nintendo 64 gave to gamers. Especially the beloved StarFox 64. I mean, my Avatar explains it all. So happy to see a new one! About to go play 64 again lol

I feel bad for people who owned consoles and don't know what star fox is lol

there bsn man. None with nintendo console couldn't have not played star fox if so i feel bad for you. thats like asking what super smash bros is. Pretty close to asking what mario is to not that far though but still lol.

A game that brings back such nostalgia being delayed is a big disappointment. Hopefully this delay will make the game much better.
