If you’re looking to boost your level in Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, jump in this weekend.

Just yesterday, The Coalition released a patch that dealt with issues players were having with the Gnasher shotgun. This weekend is likely timed to show off the effects of the latest update.

XP will be doubled in both ‘King of the Hill’ and ‘Blitz’ modes over the weekend.

As of this latest update, the following Achievements can also be earned by playing Hill modes:

THIS! IS! ANNEX! – Complete 100 matches in ring-based game types on Xbox Live and capture 3 objectives in each match.
NUB PWN3R – Win 20 rounds in ring-based game types on Xbox Live by shutting out the opposing team.
