Black Ops 3 beats out Fallout 4 for most anticipated multi-platform game

The Nielsen insight group, better known for their TV ratings and viewership service, made their predictions for which games will be topping the charts this holiday using “overall anticipation levels”.

The data was collected by surveying over 4,800 gamers between August 24 and September 9 with ages ranging from 7 to 54.

Black Ops 3 is topping the multi-platform charts, just ahead of Fallout 4 and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.

The Xbox One crowd are pretty psyched for Halo 5: Guardians, which has a 100% anticipation level, while the PS4 players are mustering up some enthusiasm for the Nathan Drake Collection with a 79% anticipation level.

Corpse Party: Blood Drive is leading on the PS Vita, and Dragon BallZ: Extreme Butoden rounds out the handhelds on 3DS.

It’s worth noting that only the titles that scored 70% or over were included in the chart.

CoD is not dying? Tell me more about how Mw2 had over 600 thousand players on 360 alone and how Ghosts/AW only have about 30k? Even Mw3/Bo2 only have about 30k. But 600k to 30k? Nah. It's not dying.

Not good at it? Nah, top 3k GB and I run a 3 kdr on all CoDs and even went to LAN and finished top 8 at a point when I tried really hard years ago.

Those look very made up. You can't use a peak number for MW2 and average for the rest, just to prove your point.

Saying the games are the same is ignorant. All of the games are different.
The campaigns are no where the same. The MP for all the games is different. Some have good MP some don't. All the games have their pros and cons, but they are not the same.

CoD is the number one selling game for the past years, since CoD4. The only time that wasn't true was on the years when Skyrim came out and 1 or 2 more special cases.

Even looking at your statement it makes no sense. You have been playing the game since CoD 2 and it's all the same?
Really? I forgot that WWI had Helicopters. Just because you are too ignorant to spot the differences, doesn't mean they are the same.


By same game, I assume he means the type of style. For example, the only "new" feature in COD over the last few years were the exo movement (or whatever they call it for BO3). Everything else have been the same. The only true difference is the theme! If they were to add in vehicles (even for only transportation reasons) COD would be a different game.

TBH, all the shooters besides COD are played out. Rainbow Six waited extremely too long to make a game. They should have made rainbow six vegas 3 straight after vegas 2.. BF5 will most likely be like BF4 / BF3.. aka only new guns, better graphics, a long pointless campaign and new maps.. and so on.

THe only reason why Fallout is #2 is because COD is more of a general game then Fallout. Anyone will enjoy COD (easy, arcade style, etc..) while most won't enjoy Fallout.

Honestly i can believe this even if they got more people involved. The call of duty community definitely has a way bigger group then any other game franchise but as far as ratings and everything. Fallout 4 is more in the lines of Game of the year than Black ops 3. But thats my opinion.
