The Xbox Games Store continues to do the good work of reminding everyone to invest in more hard drive space.

Because the Xbox Games Store makes games available for pre-load weeks before release, it’s usually the first place to look if you’re wondering how big a game is.

Just Cause 3 is the latest game to have its size revealed on Xbox.com, and it’s only 42.49 GB. This applies only to the Xbox One version, but the PS4 and PC versions couldn’t be too different.

That size is not unusual for modern games, and Just Cause 3’s playable area is especially large, at 1,000 square kilometres.

Just Cause 3 is out December 1.

MushroomElm I love how big these games are. And that they still offer such a low HDD in basic consoles. Is it possible to use after market HDD's? Like a Seagate 6TG HDD?

Yes I have a seagate 3TB and it works perfectly.

I want to get all these new games but id have to get a new HDD first, because all these games are like 30-40G install at the least.
