The map was helpfully posted on reddit along with a handy key so you know if you need to fight your way through a dungeon to find a suit, or if it’s topside, slowly rusting.

I tend to leave my power armour across settlements in case raiders attack, so collecting them all to distribute amongst my subjects is next on my to-do list.

If you’re travelling alone or not already suited up, you can hop in and fast travel back to a settlement. If the suit is part of your build, then do as the thread suggests, and have a humaniod companion get into any new ones you find so you’re not faffing about switching power armour and fusion cores.

Just think of the army you can build with these. You’ll be able to overrun the Commonwealth in no time.
