Treyarch bans Users for Creating Offensive Emblems/Paint Jobs In BO3

Treyarch Studios is striking down on users who have an offensive emblem design or custom paint jobs and permanently banning them from using this feature ever again.

The offensive part boils down to using a design that relates to a terrorist organization, dicks and designs related to nazis. If you fit the criteria for such a design, you will receive the following error message and permanently get banned from using this feature in the multiplayer mode. This applies to both the emblems and the paint shop in the game.


Keep in mind that this is a permanent ban for the user meaning there won’t be any way to use custom emblems and access the paint shop after this ban. If you want to use this feature, it is best to use them in a way that shows your creativity instead of simply going for something offensive.

This is not something that Treyarch hasn’t done before, as it has happened with the past games in the series as well. Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 also featured similar bans for people that decided to abuse the system.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is available now on the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It was developed by Treyarch Studios and published by Activison.

Think about it this way, if your child was playing BO3 would you want them to see sexually explicit emblems? Don't even try playing the "oh it's rated M for mature for a reason blah blah".

Fact of the matter is you're most likely a sociopath if you're making emblems like this anyway.



I would like to think if I had a child he would have better taste than black ops 3
Fact of the matter is if your letting your kids play this most likely means you bought it for them
Which means you sir are a shit parent and shouldn't have kids in the first place

Honestly if your getting offended by someone's emblem on black ops you really need to reconsider what your doing with life also most likely not ready for the Internet


this guy is right, shouldnt let your kid play it. It would also help clamp down on the dam 12 squeakers. The ban though should be a temporary. But you really need to grow a pair if you get offended. On a side note, it said "d*cks"... theoretically, u could still have a naked women or b**bs and pu**y...

Because even if the game is 18+ it's not illegal to play it under the age.
It's not even really illegal to sell it to a minor
