Fallout 4 mod makes in-game map a lot more readable

4.8
Fallout 4, like earlier games in the series, relies on the same old Pip-Boy for doing everything. This includes navigating the wasteland via the map.

Because of the wearable computer’s limited screen size, making use of that map can be cumbersome, especially in repeated use. Thankfully, you can make this situation a little better by using a new mod.

The mod, by NexusMods user mm137, is aptly named Improved Map with Visible Roads. What it does is replace the original map with another that clearly shows roads, waterlines, etc. This is done by increasing the contrast of the map itself quite a bit.

The mod also offers an in-between version that’s brighter than vanilla, but darker than the mod’s edit.

Take a look at the results, alongside some comparison shots.

Now that is a nice and helpful mod.

Good mod but if you have found a lot of locations especially around diamond city it makes
it very hard to find a specific location with so much detail haha

Pretty sweet mod, these are the kinda things that improve the game as little as they are.

Daniel bless the mods haha , this is cool

I agree man, for some reason Fallout has always had the funnest mods for games. :)

It's pretty much all the RPG games, including Skyrim. Skyrim had some of the funniest mods I've ever seen and I didn't even like the game that much.

Mickers Like it, such good things happen on PC.

Yes but just think that if you have an Xbox you don't need to upgrade anything

Yeah, you just have to deal with having low end hardware and games that can barely hold 1080p @ 60 fps if that in 2015.
